Do you love wildlife and want to get involved, but you’re not sure how to help?

Georgia Wildlife Network is looking for animal loving volunteer transporters across the state. Injured and orphaned wildlife sometimes needs a lift to licensed rehabbers/vets. We transport all wildlife species and we sometimes need assistance in capturing & rescue operations.

Georgia Wildlife Network is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All positions are volunteer only and unpaid. We do not rehabilitate wildlife ourselves, and volunteers do not keep animals in their homes. Our role is strictly coordination, rescue, education, and transport support. We do not contain Rabies Vector Species but can transport them if they are already contained by the finder. Handling of the wildlife is only permitted when necessary.

Requests are sent through an app to volunteers in the area where the animal needs help and you accept the ones you are able to help with. Your level of involvement is completely up to you. We ask that you do at least one transport every 8 weeks to remain active in our system. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for our hotline, please submit the form below and then email us at Help@GeorgiaWildlifeNetwork.com to let us know you would also like to help on the hotline. If you are signing up as a transporter, please email a copy of your driver’s license once you have completed the form below.

Be sure to follow us on Facebook at Georgia Wildlife Network. We look forward to having you join us on our wild adventures!
